He was 2014's undisputed 'King of YouTube' with 4.1 billion hits and he's amassed a staggering 33 million subscribers, who worship the webcam 'PewDiePie' he broadcasts from.
In fact, if Felix Kjellberg's die-hard fans formed their own country, it would be the world's 34th largest - and more populous than Greece, Hungary and his native Sweden combined.
Despite being one of the YouTube generation's most popular and influential figures, the video blogger has chosen a quiet life by the Brighton seaside with a beautiful Italian girl he met online.
He met Marzia Bisognin, 22, on the internet in the summer of 2011 after her friends recommended she watch the 'idiot playing video games'.

The price of fame: Kjellberg and Bisognin moved to Brighton after a brief stay at her parents' home in Vivenza because he said he couldn't 'get an internet connection anywhere' in Italy

She began to quite like the idiot, who immediately hopped on a plane to Italy and four years later, their digital romance continues in real life.
Speaking to Swedish Radio, 25-year-old Felix said: 'If there was something I learned at this point was, if there is something you want, grab it, otherwise drop it. So I went to Italy.
'I did not even tell anyone that I was going away. I just left home and left a note to my parents in the kitchen and told them that I could not watch the dog anymore.
'My deal for staying at home was that if I did not have a job, I had to walk the dog every lunch, a task I handled miserably.'

He admits it was 'the most crazy thing' he's ever done. But his reward for a impulsive and nerve-racking flight to Italy - and an awkward introduction to her parents - was the couple's first kiss.
Felix added: 'She was waiting with a friend at the arrivals gate. More beautiful in real life than in the videos she sent me.'
Marzia subsequently moved to Sweden and after another brief stint at her parents' home, they decided to settle down in Brighton in July 2013.
Kjellberg has since become an internet sensation with 2013 earnings of over £2.6 million, which he made almost entirely from advertising.
'Queen of YouTube': Marzia (pictured) has her own YouTube channel, CutiePieMarzia, which has amassed nearly five million followers

But the future could have been very different for the 25-year-old, who once studied Industrial Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
Both of his parents, Johanna and Ulf Kjellberg, are successful Chief Executives of their respective companies in Sweden.
And having been schooled at Goteborgs Hogre Samskola, located in one of the city's most prosperous areas, he could have been destined for a corporate life too.
Fortunately for his millions of fans, Kjelberg's ambitions weren't in line with his classmates' at Chalmers.
'Thinking about it now, it was utterly absurd. To get into Chalmers for industrial economics you need straight A's, but somehow I was happier selling hot dogs and making my own gaming-videos.'

He told Icon magazine's Dela Sidan: 'I noticed that I had nothing in common with the rest of the people in the program.
They all wanted to make a business career, to become CEO's and stuff like that, something I had no interest in what so ever. So I dropped out.'
'Dropping the news to my parents that I was skipping my "dream education" at Chalmers to sit at home recording videos while playing video-games was not easy,' He told Swedish Radio.
'My parents said that sitting at home playing video-games all day won´t bring you anywhere in life.
'Thinking about it now, it was utterly absurd. To get into Chalmers for industrial economics you need straight A's, but somehow I was happier selling hot dogs and making my own gaming-videos.'
Those videos caught the attention of Marker Studios, who manage around 55,000 YouTube channels. The company itself was bought out by Disney for £660million last year.
Now, Icon magazine claims his profit margin in 2013 was 97 per cent with Maker Studios paying him £806,000 in dividends alone.

He recently moved to the area after fans, who he refers to as his 'bro's', tracked down his old address.
In one of his videos, he said: 'We actually moved, and yes, again. We're still in the UK after all and I don't think you bro's need to know exactly where I live.
'If I wanted you bro's to know where I lived, I'd tell you my address'.
Felix is constantly recognized on the streets of Brighton, and while he encourages people to introduce themselves, he dislikes being called 'famous'.
He has told his subscribers: 'Seeing all this stuff on Facebook and Twitter worries me a little bit. Let's take it down a notch.'
Such is his lack of need to promote the PewDiePie brand, Kjellberg has decided to never again give an interview to media.
The YouTube star revealed to MailOnline yesterday: 'I don't do interviews. I decided about a year ago that I would stop, so now I don't give interviews to any media.'
He also told fans in an online question and answer session: 'Being in the spotlight isn't for me - in many ways I'd prefer if my channel was small.'
If PewDiePie is the King of Youtube then his Italian girlfriend - who goes under the moniker CutiePieMarzia - is the Queen.

Twenty-two-year-old Marzia Bisognin is a successful YouTube videographer in her own right, with nearly five million subscribers.
The videos she and Felix make together often bring in the highest number of views.
A self-confessed 'shy girl' from Vivenza, Italy, she has used her platform to branch out from 'vlogging' into fashion. Along with the pictures of Felix and their two dogs, he Instagram account is littered with images of clothing promotions.
Their clean-cut, colourful personas have attracted an audience much younger than themselves, but Felix Kjellberg's 'career' is not without controversy.
Despite admitting some of his viewers are as young as 12, he often swears and makes references to getting 'drunk and naked'.
He even made rape jokes in his early YouTube videos, for which he had to issue a public apology saying: 'I just wanted to make clear that I'm no longer making rape jokes, as I mentioned before I'm not looking to hurt anyone and I apologise if it ever did.'
Kjellberg has ambitions to create his own game in the future, but the demand of constantly uploading videos for his millions of adoring fans is beginning to take its toll - and fans may soon have to find another addiction.
He admitted: 'I can't be making videos every single day of the year, I'm sorry. I make everything myself and sometimes it takes a lot of time to make a video, so sometimes I have to postpone it', he told fans.
'Right now I probably won't last more than two years. I'm putting so much time and energy into it, [I'm] getting really burned out.'
